4/13/2010- Toyota Motor's (NYSE:TM) new Lexus GX sport-utility vehicle was labeled a safety risk by Consumer Reports, according to a Bloomberg report, complicating efforts by the company to repair its image following record recalls this year. The 2010 GX 460 received the "don't buy" recommendation because of handling and emergency driving tests, Consumer Reports said in a statement. The magazine said that the SUV's rear end "slid out until the vehicle was almost sideways before the electronic stability control system was able to regain control" at a test track.
